While Sony has yet to lift the wraps off the PS5 UI, a new patent unearthed by the folks at ResetEra has seemingly given us our first glimpse at user interface that we’ll be seeing a lot of come November.
In case you missed it, Jim Ryan, CEO and president of Sony Interactive Entertainment, teased that we can expect details on the PS5 UI soon.
PS5 UI Glimpsed In New Patent?
The images contained in the patent reveal some interesting concepts, including a panel of contents for a selected game, which features a quick menu packed with features like party setup, playtime tracking, restart buttons. Other panels feature in-game events, missions, hints, video content from the selected title, and more.
The PS5 is due for release on November 12 in the US and Japan and November 19 in the UK. The standard version of the console will retail for $499/£449 while the Digital-Only Edition will set you back $399/£359.
