Don’t you just love rumors? The latest Sony has had to refuse commenting on involves the PSP Mini service, launched beside the PSP Go back in October. Since then, there hasn’t been much support for the feature, even from Sony. However, gossip is making its rounds, and the very latest from what Joystiq claims as reliable sources is that PSP Mini will get a much needed boost just in time for Christmas.
That would have been enough to chew on by itself; however, it is also speculated that PSP Minis will be playable on the PlayStation 3 and will have a slight resolution increase for the port. Sony replies, "We don’t comment on rumor or speculation." The past has made that phrase seem as if it means "yes, it’s true;" however, this information is strictly rumors.
