Sony wasn’t joking when they told us at the Consumer Electronics Show that they planned to focus a lot more on the PlayStation Portable throughout 2009. So far this year, gamers have witnessed announcements of first-party titles including LittleBigPlanet and MotorStorm, alongside third-party entries such as Assassin’s Creed and Rock Band.
This newfound support for the handheld may just be what the system needs in order to give it a much needed boost in the long running battle with Nintendo’s DS. Continuing this trend of support, Sony is beefing up its list of Greatest Hits titles being made available for the affordable price of $19.99 USD.
