Project K director Toshihiro Nagoshi has confirmed that the PSP adventure will hit Japanese store shelves on September 22.
In addition, Nagoshi also slapped an official nametag on the game, revealing the title is now formally known as Kurohyu:Ryu ga Gotoku Shinshou – roughly translated as Black Leopard: A New Yakuza Chapter.
For those out of the loop, this latest Yakuza offering is a spin-off title pitting players in the shoes of an 18 year-old brawler named Tatsuya Ukyou. Expect to see some familiar locations as you explore the city, as well as some fresh tweaks to the combat system.
