PSU: Best PSN Game of 2011

2011 has been an excellent year for the digital market, and most excellent for titles released on the PlayStation Network. We’re now going to take a look at which games are in the running for the title of “Best PSN Game of 2011” and which game is it, based on the votes we received from the PSU Community.

The nominee’s for Best PSN Game of 2011 are:

PixelJunk Shooter 2 Developer: Q-Games | Publisher: Sony Computer Entertainment America

Limbo Developer: Playdead | Publisher: Playdead

Dungeon Defenders Developer: Trendy Entertainment | Publisher: Reverb Communications

Renegade Ops Developer: Avalanche Studios | Publisher: SEGA

NBA Jam: On Fire Edition Developer: EA Canada | Publisher: Electronic Arts

inFamous: Festival of Blood Developer: EA Canada | Publisher: Electronic Arts

… and the winner is:

Limbo – with 22 out of 68 community votes

Such a close call between Limbo and inFamous: Festival of Blood, but ultimately Limbo wins. Limbo is an original IP with it’s own unique art style and the gameplay to match. Limbo has received high marks across various gaming publications for its sheer brilliance.

We would like to congratulate the team behind Limbo for creating the absolute best PSN game in 2011 as voted by the PSU community.
