Best PlayStation Exclusive Game – God Of War Ragnarok
PlayStation’s first-party output is the lifeblood of PS4 and PS5, with the likes of Sony Santa Monica Studio, Insomniac Games and Guerrilla Games among others delivering some of the biggest franchises of the generation – and only on PlayStation formats.
2022 was no different in this respect, with several key first-party titles like God of War Ragnarok, Horizon Forbidden West and Gran Turismo 7 launching for PS4 & PS5. It’s worth noting that this year is probably the last time we’ll see so many major AAA games arrive on both systems, with PS5 likely to dominate from here on.
As for the winner? Well, it was (unsurprisingly) massive victory for God of War Ragnarok, Sony Santa Monica’s epic god-slaying sequel that brings the curtains down on the series’ Norse saga.
