Best Horror Game – Silent Hill 2 Remake
Bloober Team has an uphill battle to successfully update one of (if not the) most celebrated horror games of all time, but somehow it pulled it off. Packed with gorgeous visuals and a story that not only respects the original 2001 but expands on it in meaningful ways, Silent Hill 2 Remake is a psychological thrill ride that both newcomers and veteran fans simply must experience. As such, while there were plenty of solid horror outings this year, Silent Hill 2 Remake triumphed as the best of the bunch.
