Perhaps better than any other game before it, Metaphor: ReFantazio grapples with complex themes in direct ways that never pulls its punches, with a narrative that genuinely inspires you by the time you’ve rolled credits. Not every video game story will make you want to be a better person by the time you’re done with it, but Metaphor: ReFantazio is that game.
