Best Local Multiplayer Game – Split Fiction
There’s something special about sharing a multiplayer game in the same room as a group of mates. Whether it’s duffing up bad guys in classics like Streets of Rage II, racing in four-player Mario Kart 64, or chainsawing the Locust hordes in Gears of War, local multiplayer has provided the backdrop for many great gaming sessions. This year had its fair share of stunners in this respect, but Split Fiction ultimately stood out as the best of the bunch.
