PSVR release date is only two weeks away, will you invest in VR gaming?
PSVR is scheduled for release on October 13, 2016 priced at $399/£349. The headset is the cheapest option you’ll have to get into virtual reality gaming this year, with Sony’s device coming in at a significantly more wallet-friendly price than Oculus Rift and HTC Vive. Furthermore, the company hopes to have around 50 games out by the end of year, so it’ll have the software to back it up.
Sony’s VR headset will have a number of titles supporting it, such as dedicated experiences including DriveClub VR, Batman Arkham VR, and Robinson: The Journey, plus major titles that will include PSVR features such as Resident Evil: biohazard, Final Fantasy 15, and Rise of the Tomb Raider.
PSVR was originally announced at GDC 2014 under the working title of Project Morpheus.
