James Spafford, Community Manager at Double Fine Productions, has announced that Psychonauts in the Rhombus of Ruin will be launching for the PlayStation VR in two weeks. Not only that, but players will receive the original Psychonauts on PS4 for free if they pre-order.
Rhombus of Ruin continues where the story left off over a decade ago in 2005 original where Raxz, Lili, Sasha, Milla, and Coach Oleander went off to rescue Truman Zanotto.
According to James, Double Fine Productions “designed this new adventure to be as fun for long time fans of the series as it is for new players – meaning there’s no need to know what happened to these characters before now. Naturally though there are some parts of the story that will make more sense if you’re already a fan, and so we wanted to give everyone the chance to catch up.”
Psychonauts in the Rhombus of Ruin will be launching on February 21 for $19.99.
