Ripstone and Rockwater have announced that Pure Pool Pro is launching for PS5 and PC on February 12, 2026. The Xbox Series X/S edition will follow in Spring 2026.
Pure Pool Pro looks set to offer ultra-realistic visuals thanks to support for up to 8K resolution and ray-tracing for the PS5 Pro, while the base PS5 versions allows for native 4K resolution and 120 FPS. The developer notes that no upscaling techniques are employed here, with Pure Pool Pro offering fully native rendering. Players can experience a number of cutting-edge visual effects, such as high-fidelity reflections and “intricate table and ball details.”
The Career Mode allows players to build their own legacy by progressing though hundreds of events across the US 8-Ball and US 9-Ball career modes, as well as taking their skills online to compete in real-time matches with friends and rivals worldwide with seamless online Cross-Play.
Pure Pool Pro also offers 20 unique AI players featuring unique personalities and signature cues, which will adapt as you progress to keep things challenging. Meanwhile, you’ll put your skills on the table to the test in two iconic venues, including the 1,000 seat Tetradome and the luxurious Rackhaus Pool Hall.
Ripstone will publish Pure Pool Pro on PS5 and PC on February 12.
