Ubisoft has confirmed that the PlayStation 3 version of R.U.S.E will feature PlayStation Move compatibility.
The real-time strategy outing was showcased with Move support during a hands-on event today in London. Gamers will be able to utilize the new peripheral to perform a number of tasks, such as selecting units, building structures and manipulating the camera.
Apparently, Move support wasn’t integrated until recently, with senior producer Mathieu Girard telling Eurogamer that the team incorporated the technology "four or five weeks" ago.
"I wasn’t sure if it was just going to be a gadget," he said, adding, "but it turns out it’s a very cool and natural controller. We’re very excited about it."
Furthermore, Girard stated he believes that Move provides "the most enjoyable experience" with which to play the game, though conceded using a mouse and keyboard as seen in the PC version is “the most efficient.”
R.U.S.E is due out in September 2010.
