Ubisoft has confirmed that it’s carrying out emergency maintenance on the Rainbow Six Siege servers. It’s currently unknown when the servers will be back online.
This is likely in preparation for the Rainbow Six Siege free weekend, which begins today, August 24 and runs until August 27, though players will also tell you that there’s been frequent server issues that have plagued the game since release.
Rainbow Six Siege free weekend begins
Here’s the breakdown of start and end times per platform:
- Xbox : August 24 at 9am PDT to August 28 7am PDT
- PS4: August 24 at 7am PDT to August 28 at 4.59 PDT
- PC: August 24 at 10am PDT to August 27 at 1pm PDT

The full game will be accessible during these dates complete for free and will include access to all maps. If you’re having fun, Ubisoft is offering a 50% discount on the game after the trial if you wish to purchase it.
