Ratchet & Clank developer Insomniac Games has spread its wings and developed its first ever game outside of PlayStation systems, releasing Outernauts, a socially focused RPG for Facebook.
Insomniac says it has produced a console-like experience for Outernauts combining nice graphics with a decent script and humourous narrative that we’ve come to expect from the California-based developer.
The gameplay blends RPG and strategy elements, requiring players to capture and train alien beast across a variety of mysterious planets. Players can harvest loot, and fight with or against other players as they seek to uncover the mystery behind the “ancients.”
With Insomniac behind it, it’s well worth checking out. The open beta of Outnernauts is now available via Facebook.
