Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart is officially heading to PC on July 26, 2023, Sony Interactive Entertainment and Insomniac Games have announced. The news comes following rumours last week that Sony had a major PlayStation PC ported lined up for July.
Those of you who pre-order the game for PC will receive the Carbonox Armor Set and Pixelizer Weapon. Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart will launch for PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store.
Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart for PC will include a number of extra features for players to enjoy, including ultra-wide support for 21:9, 32:9, and 48:9 (triple monitor support) resolutions. Meanwhile, PC owners can choose the option of unlocked frame rates, and enjoy dazzling effects such as ray-traced reflections and ray-traced shadows for exteriors.
The PS5’s DualSense controller is also compatible with Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart PC, allowing for haptic feedback and dyadic trigger effects. Alternatively, you can plump for mouse and keyboard, which features a variety of control customisation options.
If that wasn’t enough, the game is packed with the latest performance-enhancing upscaling tech that includes NVIDIA DLSS 3, AMD FSR 2, Intel XeSS and Insomniac Games’ Temporal Injection.
