Raven Software Reportedly Had 2 Games Shelved Including Call Of Duty Zombies Live Service Project

Raven Software, the studio that has been provided support on the Call of Duty franchise for many years now, reportedly had two projects cancelled by Activision, according to the LinkedIn profile of Michael Gummelt, the former lead designer for the company.

One of these projects was a live service game based on Call of Duty Zombies, the undead spin-off created by Treyarch that originally started out life as Nazi Zombies in Call of Duty: World at War. Gummelt’s profile revealed the following brief info on the game:

Lead Designer on an ambitious new Call of Duty: Zombies live service project. Canceled when the ATVI studio that “owned” that part of the Call of Duty IP wanted it back.

The second title was a revival of a classic Raven IP.

Raven Software hasn’t officially announced any future projects involving its classic IP, so it remains to be seen if it will have another crack at working on something.
