Ubisoft’s Rayman: 30th Anniversary Edition is now available to purchase on disc for the PS5 via Amazon, and what’s more, you’ll get a bunch of extras for this physical version including a sticker sheet, three postcards, a double-sided poster, and reversible cover.
Rayman: 30th Anniversary Edition includes five versions of the iconic 1995 platformer, and is the result of a collaboration between Digital Eclipse and Ubisoft Montpellier, offering bonus levels, enhancements, and an interactive documentary. The versions of the game included are MS-DOS, PlayStation, Atari Jaguar, Game Boy Color, and Game Boy Advance, as well as a look at a never-before-seen SNES prototype. In addition, the bonus level packs add more than 120 extra stages, a 60-second rewind feature, infinite lives, and invincibility option.
Rayman was originally released in September 1995 and became one of the best-selling PlayStation games following its release for Sony’s debut home console. The game follows the titular hero as he pursues Mr. Dark to recover the Great Protoon that is used to keep the balance between nature and the people of Rayman’s valley, and takes the form of a side-scrolling platformer where you must conquer six thematic worlds while using Rayman’s various powers.
