Red Dead Redemption PS5 Is Reportedly Getting A Physical Release In May

The PS5 version of Red Dead Redemption is getting a physical release, with a listing on Wakkap stating that Rockstar’s Wild West title will arrive on May 7, 2026.

Rockstar hasn’t announced anything about a physical release of Red Dead Redemption on PS5 yet, so there’s a chance this listing could be a mistake, although typically these things get outed ahead of an official reveal quite frequently. The PS5 version of the critically acclaimed 2010 open-world westerner launched on December 2, 2025, and was offered as a free upgrade to owners of the PS4 edition of the game.

Red Dead Redemption on PS5 offers a number of enhancements over the previous generation versions of the game, including 60 FPS, 4K resolution, and support for High-Dynamic Range (HDR). In addition, if you have any saves for the PS4 version of Red Dead Redemption, you can transfer them across to the PS5 release. The Undead Nightmare expansion is also included.

Rockstar originally released Red Dead Redemption for PS3 and Xbox 360 in May 2010.
