Control 2 remains in the proof-of-concept-stage, developer Remedy has revealed during its latest business review published earlier today.
Remedy announced Control 2 back in November last year, at which point it was in the concept stage. While there’s few details available on the game as you’ expect, the studio did confirm that it will be released on PC and consoles and is being powered by Remedy’s Northlight engine.
Here’s what Remedy had to say on the game during its business review:
Control 2 continues in the proof-of-concept stage. The plans for this sequel are ambitious, and we have seen good progress both in the designs and in the game build. We will continue at this stage for the next few quarters. We focus on proving the identified key elements before moving to the next stage and scaling up the team.
Control 2 is currently in development for PC and consoles, although given that it’s still very early days we probably shouldn’t expect any new info for a while.
