Bloody Disgusting reports that inSANE has found a new home and is now back in development.
The brainchild of Guillermo del Toro, inSANE ran into a spot of trouble earlier this year when publisher THQ shelved the project while it was in the works at Volition.
However, according to the report, del Toro shopped around and the first studio he approached jumped on board the project. No word yet on who the new developer is, though the director previously expressed his interest in Valve Corporation.
Still, it’ll be a while before we see inSANE in shops; the game isn’t due out until 2015 at the very earliest, so presumably it’ll be released for next-generation platforms.
