We have some bad news for all the 40 GB PlayStation 3 owners out there. Prepare to have 5 GB of storage free if you plan on picking up Resident Evil 5 this March.
According to the official PS3 box art, the game will require at least 5000 MB of storage space. The box also reveals that the PS3 version has a max resolution of 720p.

As this isn’t the first title to ask for hefty hard disk space, it’s probably just safe to say that PS3 owners just need to upgrade hard drives. For near the price of a game, PS3 owners can upgrade to a decent 160 GB hard drive.
