Capcom has announced that it’s bringing its Resident Evil 7 Experience to London later this month.
Taking place from January 20-23, 2017, Capcom says that it’s a haunted house-style event for fans to enjoy, based on the Baker family mansion from the upcoming survival horror sequel. You’ll take on the role of an investigative journalist as you explore the spooky estate while gathering clues and solving puzzles.

Participants will have to rescue their partner (you’ll go into the house in pairs) before the Baker family manage to locate them, with the whole experience said to last under an hour or so in length. Capcom said the whole thing has an ‘Escape the Room’ vibe to it. Better bring an extra pair of underwear just in case, eh?
Resident Evil 7 release date is almost upon us
Capcom announced Resident Evil 7 Biohazard during Sony’s E3 2016 press event, confirming the game will launch on PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One on January 24, 2017. The game will also be fully playable with PlayStation VR from start to finish, a feature that will remain exclusive to Sony’s console for one year, with the PS4 Pro version said to the definitive edition.
Resident Evil 7 takes place four years after the events of its action-packed predecessor, and sees newcomer Ethan Winters exploring a spooky mansion in Dulvey, Louisiana, while on the hunt for his missing wife. Those of you who want to further enhance their playing experience may want to invest in the Resident Evil 7 4D Candle, which gives off an atmospheric scent of timber and blood.
Those of you who haven’t got a taste of the game should probably head over to the PlayStation Store and download the Resident Evil 7 demo, solve the dummy finger murder mystery, and bag your collector’s edition, which looks amazing.
