Resident Evil 7: biohazard has managed to infect stores in the Middle-East over a week prior to its official release, and in the process we’ve managed to get an idea of how much space the game will take up on your PlayStation 4 hard drive.

According to an unboxing video provided by a user on Reddit, the Resident Evil 7 PS4 file size requires at least 23GB of space, and there’s apparently a day-one patch available to grab too. Still, it’s a relatively small amount when you compare it to some of the open-world behemoths that you can find on the PS4.

You can see a shot of the back of the packaging art below for proof.

Resident Evil 7 is scheduled for release on January 24, 2017 for PS4, PC, and Xbox One. A collector’s edition is also available. The game is fully playable with PlayStation VR from start to finish, rumored to take around 15 hours to complete, and also takes advantage of Sony’s high-end PlayStation 4 Pro for increased visual fidelity.

Set four years after the events of its predecessor, Resident Evil 7 takes place in the fictional town of Dulvey, Louisiana, where newcomer Ethan Winters travels in order to find his missing wife, Mia. Here, players find themselves exploring the seemingly abandoned Baker plantation, although in typical Resi fashion, things quickly hit the fan. Resi 7 is the first mainline entry in the franchise to utilise a first-person perspective, which Capcom says is key to accentuating the game’s atmosphere.
