Resident Evil: Director’s Cut will finally be hitting the European PlayStation Network next week, reports Eurogamer.
The survival horror classic will be released in PAL regions on March 23 priced at €9.99 / £7.99, which just so happens to be the day after the venerable Capcom series celebrates its 15th anniversary.
For those unaware, Director’s Cut is a revamped edition of the inaugural Resident Evil and appeared on PlayStation back in 1997. The game features three modes: Training, Original and Arrange.
The former two are pretty much your bog-standard RE affair, though Arrange packs in new costumes, a custom Beretta handgun, alternate camera angles and reshuffled enemy/item locations. Players will also encounter a zombified version of Bravo Team sniper Forest Speyer on the mansion terrace.
PSU will be celebrating the 15th anniversary of Resident Evil via a string of dedicated features commencing Monday, March 21, so fans might want to keep their eyes peeled next week.
