The upcoming high-definition re-release of Resident Evil Remake will be receiving three physical SKUs in Asian territories, Capcom has announced.
As previously confirmed, the survival horror title—known as Biohazard in Japan—will be hitting the Land of the Rising Sun in November on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. Western gamers will have to wait until early 2015, however.
So, what exactly will Asian gamers be able to choose from? Well, first there’s the standard release, which is simply a physical copy of Resident Evil HD Remaster on PS3 or Xbox 360 for around $31.
The second, and slightly more extravagant edition, is complemented by a 27” Umbrella Corporation umbrella. A price point will be decided by retailers at a later date.
Finally, the third edition of Resident Evil HD Remaster comes packaged with a 48-page art book guide, a special box, and B2-size floor map. This will be priced at around $40.
Unfortunately, westerns gamers won’t be treated to any such special editions for Resident Evil HD Remaster, as the game is a digital-only release in North America and Europe.
Resident Evil Remake was originally released on the GameCube in 2002 as part of an exclusivity agreement with Nintendo. The game will be released for PS4, PS3, Xbox One, Xbox 360, and PC.
