Capcom has revealed that it will be hosting a Resident Evil Showcase in early 2026, where it is going to delve deeper into the upcoming Resident Evil Requiem. To keep you occupied until then, the publisher has released a ‘Road to Requiem’ video offering a brief recap on the key story points in the series, narrated by Lady Dimitrescu actress Maggie Robertson.
Seen below, the video also offers a look at the various editions of Resident Evil Requiem that are available to preorder now, which we covered here. The actual story recap of key series events is pretty brief, as it fails to mention the events of Resident Evil Zero, Resident Evil, Resident Evil CODE: Veronica and Resident Evil 4, so keep that in mind.

Resident Evil Requiem is pencilled in for release on February 27, 2026 for PS5, PC, and Xbox Series X/S. Players follow Grace Ashcroft, daughter of Alyssa from Resident Evil: Outbreak, as she investigates a series of mysterious deaths at a hotel; the same place her mother was murdered eight years prior. The game is also set to revisit the ruins of Raccoon City around 30 years after its destruction at the hands of the U.S. government in an effort to stop the T-Virus outbreak.
