Resident Evil Requiem takes place around 30 years after the destruction of Raccoon City, which was bombed by the U.S. government in early October 1998 in an effort to contain the T-Virus infection. Players follow Grace Ashcroft, daughter of Alyssa from Resident Evil Outbreak, who is working as an FBI agent investigating a series of grisly murders in the same location that her mother was killed some years before.
While players will visit a number of new locations in the game, Resident Evil Requiem will take places back to the streets of Raccoon City, which now lies in ruins, where you’ll explore familiar areas including the remains of the R.P.D. Resident Evil Requiem launches February 27, 2026 for PS5, PC, Nintendo Switch 2, and Xbox Series X/S.
