Capcom insider Dusk Golem has claimed that Resident Evil Village will receive a new trailer during The Game Awards 2020 later today.
Just in case you’ve never heard of them, Dusk Golem has a reliable track record when it comes to Resident Evil, and in this case, presents some compelling evidence that we will get a new trailer.
Resident Evil 7: Biohazard is currently available on the Game Awards Sale on Steam, and Capcom typically aligns sales with announcements. Dusk Golem provides examples of past sales, where Resident Evil 2 Remake went on sale to coincide with Resident Evil 3 remake’s reveal, and Resident Evil 7 was discounted when Resident Evil 2 was announced.

Resident Evil Village is currently in the works for PS5, PC and Xbox Series X/S, with a PS4 and Xbox One versions also heavily rumored. The game’s release date hasn’t been officially confirmed yet, but it is believed to be targeting an April 2021 window.
