Resident Evil Zero HD will be gracing PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, PC, Xbox One, and Xbox 360 next week via digital download. Originally released on GameCube in 2002, Zero takes place 24 hours before the events of the infamous ‘Mansion Incident’ depicted in the original Resident Evil, and sees games controlling rookie S.T.A.R.S member Rebecca Chambers and escaped convict Billy Coen.
Zero features the ability to switch between both characters with the press of a button, and also allows gamers to drop items anywhere they like, as the series’ trademark item boxes have now been removed. Billy and Rebecca can complement each other’s unique skills to solve puzzles and battle creatures together as they visit a number of locations, including an express train, training facility, underground lab, and more.
The HD version of Zero features a number of bonus content not seen in the GameCube original, including a new Wesker Mode, where gamers control series villain Albert Wesker alongside Rebecca, plus a host of new costumes.
