Resident Evil Zero HD release sounds more likely than ever

Speaking during its latest financial briefing, Capcom said that it intends on releasing additional HD Remasters of ‘popular older games’ by the end of the current financial year (March 31, 2016).

The company said it plans to "utilize existing intellectual property, such as by selling HD remastered versions of popular older games."

This further solidifiers earlier reports that the Japanese giant will be remastering the former GameCube exclusive, Resident Evil Zero, for PS4 and Xbox One at some point down the line.

This would make a lot of sense, seeing as how the company brought Resident Evil Remake in HD to current and last-generation consoles back in January.

Other remasters include DmC: Devil May Cry Definitive Edition and Devil May Cry 4: Special Edition, the latter which is due out later this year. Resident Evil HD Remaster has gone on to sell one million copies since release across all platforms.

Could Capcom further supplement its output with remasters of Resident Evil 5 and Resident Evil 6? Let us know what you think in the comments section below.
