The action kicks off in a forest area, with a team of human troops assaulting automated turrets and taking cover behind piles of lumber, before switching to a shadowy industrial facility of some description. Various Chimera can be seen strafing their little hearts out. Some of them have weird pop-out green shield things. Cracking.
For those of you who’ve spent the past six months in an air-tight bunker, Resistance 2 is the sequel to Insomniac’s thunderous PlayStation 3 launch title. Among the bigger additions this time round are 12 new Chimeran enemies, including the fearsome "Grim" melee fighter, and the Splicer, a rifle which fires super-heated razor discs. There’s a separate co-op campaign and staggering 60-strong competitive multiplayer.
The game’s out on November 4 in North America and November 28 in Europe.
