Apex Legends developer Respawn has revealed via job listings that it is staffing up for a new single-player first-person game set in the same universe as the battle royale title.
The recruitment drive mentions “Apex Universe FPS incubation project,” which describes the title as “a brand new Respawn single-player adventure.”
This new single-player title is a developer’s dream playground with the freedom to innovate made possible by the unique universe it inhabits.
Details on the project spelled earlier this year in a report on GamesBeat, which described the game as a FPS built around the guiding principles of “mobility” and “style,” although it’s not a new Titanfall game. Previous job listings described the project as “a designer’s dream playground with a freedom to innovate made possible by the unique universe.”
