Launching on October 13, Rez Infinite can be played with or without PS VR and features a new section called “Area X.” Rez original creator Tetsuya Mizuguchi returned to be the game’s development lead.
The original Rez came out on the Dreamcast and PlayStation 2 back in 2001 in Japan and 2002 in the West. An HD port for Xbox 360 came out in 2008. In 2011, Mizuguchi released Child of Eden, a sequel to Rez, for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
Limited Run Games, a company specializing in publishing physical copies of niche or small games, is interested in giving Rez Infinite a physical release.
