Atari has announced that The Chronicles of Riddick: Assault on Dark Athena will release on April 7 in the U.S. and April 24 in Europe. Dark Athena comes with a remade version of the original Escape from Butcher Bay, as well as an entirely original adventure, Assault of Dark Athena.
In case you’re not convinced that this movie-based property won’t suck, you can try it out early when the game’s pre-release demo becomes available sometime in March. It certainly looks top-notch, and Starbreeze Studios certainly has a solid track record, so we’re hoping for the best.
The Chronicles of Riddick: Assault on Dark Athena will ship for PS3, Xbox 360, and PC on April 7 in North America and April 24 in Europe.
