Brand new Rocket League Velocity Crate items are set to land in the latest update on December 4, 2016.
The new patch from Psyonix introduces crate items inspired by the 1980s. This includes new goal explosions, equalizer wheels and a new car, dubbed the Imperator DT5.

Rocket League Velocity Crate Items incoming
In addition, Rocket League fans can enjoy six new decals, and new engine audio. A full list of Rocket League velocity crate items will be available following the update.
Rocket League sales have gone through the roof since the game launched in 2015, when it was first released for free to PlayStation Plus members. According to the latest figures, there are over 30 million players worldwide!
As we enter 2018, get set for more updates as we head towards the release of the PS5.
If you're wondering about whether Rocket League 2 will ever surface, it's not happening. Psyonix has made it clear that a Rocket League sequel isn't on the agenda, but instead they'll concentrate on updating the current version.
