As we reported earlier, there appears to be some isolated cases of freezing PS3s when playing GTA IV.
Rockstar has acknowledged the issue and advised that those experiencing the problem should delete and reinstall the game data (this is the data that’s installed on first start up of the game, not your saves).
The issue only seems to occur on US 60GB launch units, and the number of reported cases is few and far between. Hopefully you’re not one of the people missing out on this fantastic title…a potential winner of Game of the Year.
