Rocksteady confirms no playable vehicles for Arkham City

Speaking during an interview with UK publication gamesTM, Rocksteady head honcho Sefton Hill has revealed that Batman: Arkham City won’t feature any playable vehicles.

The reason, apparently, is due to the simple fact Hill and team want the focus to remain solely on the Caped Crusader himself, who the studio has labelled as the “ultimate vehicle.”

“There aren’t any playable vehicles in the game,” said Hill. “What we’ve really focused on is Batman himself. We see him as the ultimate vehicle.”

Batman: Arkham City is due out in autumn 2011 for PS3, 360 and PC. The game will be featured at Spike’s 2010 Video Game Awards on December 11.
