Grasshopper Manufacture News PS5 Romeo Is A Dead Man Romeo Is A Dead Man Uses No AI Suda51

Suda51 Assures Fans That Romeo Is A Dead Man Has No AI-Generated Content

Grasshopper Manufacture’s upcoming action romp Romeo Is A Dead Man doesn’t feature any AI-generated content, creator Goichi ‘Suda51’ Suda has revealed in a post on X.

We’re looking into what we can do to make a Switch 2 version happen. Also, this game contains no AI-generated stuff whatsoever, so please rest easy on that front and go ahead and wishlist it!

Suda51’s comments come in wake of news that Let It Die: Inferno, which is the sequel to Grasshopper’s Let It Die (though the studio is not involved in this project), features heavy use of generative AI, at least according to its Steam page listing. This prompted a statement from developer Supertrick Games, who clarified how much AI the game actually used, which involved generating ‘rough base images’ for background posters and InfoCast insert images.

Romeo Is A Dead Man launches for PS5, PC, and Xbox Series X/S on February 11, 2026.
