Gaming publication PSM3 is reporting that Devil May Cry 5 won’t see the light of day anytime soon, with the game apparently not appearing on Capcom’s two-year schedule.
The sequel is reportedly in development at Ninja Theory, the team responsible for bringing us the PS3 exclusive hack and slash adventure, Heavenly Sword.
Despite this, however, the magazine goes on to state that fans shouldn’t “rule out a surprise announcement at E3″. This ties in with previous rumors that Capcom is planning on unveiling a ‘sequel bombshell’ at the Los Angeles-based event later this month.
The most recent instalment in the Devil May Cry franchise, DMC4, hit shops back in early 2008 for PS3 and 360.
