Grand Theft Auto V will be released in October 2012, according to a listing on a Rockstar North animator’s LinkedIn and CV profile.
As spotted by Joystiq, the date was quickly deleted, though not before a snapshot was taken that clearly lists the release window for Rockstar’s hotly-anticipated crime sequel as October.
GTA V was unveiled via a short teaser trailer in November of last year, though to date nothing else has been said on the game.
Rockstar owner Take-Two has a number of high-profile releases already due out this year, including Max Payne 3 in May and 2K’s BioShock: Infinite arriving in October. It’s also worth noting that October 2012 is the 15th anniversary of the Grand Theft Auto franchise.
