MCV is reporting that hotly-anticipated sandbox sequel Grand Theft Auto 5 will be released in autumn 2012.
That’s at least according to a release schedule from a major U.K. high street retailer obtained by the site, which also lists The Dark Knight Rises and Battlefield Evolved for a 2012 launch.
GTA V was unveiled last November in the form of a brief teaser trailer, though Rockstar has remained tight-lipped on the crime romp ever since. New information is expected in the coming months, however.
In terms of a release date, we’ve heard anything from a late 2012 to an unspecified 2013 launch thrown around, though nothing concrete has ever emerged from Rockstar HQ.
