EDGE (via Gamerzines) is reporting that Guerrilla Games is working on a new entry in the Killzone franchise.
The publication is quoted saying that “bulk of Guerrilla’s staff (is soldiering) on with the next Killzone instalment.”
Killzone 3’s producer Steven Ter Heide is supposedly at the helm as game director, it adds. Furthermore, the mag has Guerrilla studio recruiter Adrian Smith stating that “we’ve got to continue the Killzone franchise.”
Guerrilla is also beavering away on a new IP, which is being directed by Mathijs De Jonge, who previously directed both Killzone 2 and 3.
A Killzone game is currently in development for PlayStation Vita, though that’s being handled by SCE Studio Cambridge.
Stay tuned to PSU for more details as they break.
