According to the chaps at MCV, Sony’s Next-Generation Portable (NGP) will be landing in the palms of gamers across Europe as early as November 2011.
That’s according to the latest industry rumblings at least, with sources informing the site that development deadlines have been stamped down to ensure key Western titles are done and dusted by the end of summer.
Apparently, the goal is to have them deployed this autumn, with further online leaks indicating a Friday, November 11 release for the NGP itself.
Sony Computer Entertainment America (SCEA) chief Jack Tretton previously commented that the console maker is aiming to get the platform out in "at least one" major territory by the end of 2011.
