Sony is still keeping mum on when it will launch PS5 pre-orders, but according to known leaker IronManPS5, September 9 is the date when you’ll be able to put your name down.
PS5 Pre-Order Rumors Reignited
We probably don’t need to mention this, but take all this with a pinch of salt for the time being. IronManPS5 has got a patchy track record, so there’s no telling how accurate they are with this. However, it’s worth noting that the September 9 date is quite significant, being 25 years since the PlayStation went on sale in the US.
Could Sony be looking to launch PS5 pre-orders on that date? It’s definitely possible, and would make a lot of sense. Still, until Sony actually speaks up on the topic, we can only speculate.

The PS5 has yet to attract a release date, although Sony has assured gamers that it will launch at some point in holiday 2020.
