A recent rating by the British Board of Film Classification (BBFC) has indicated that Konami’s classic horror outing Silent Hill will be heading to PlayStation Network in the near future.
While initially believed to pertain to the much rumored Silent Hill remake for Wii and PSP, website VG247 has since claimed that the rating – filed on March 9 – does in fact relate to a PSN re-release of the original PlayStation title.
Released in 1999, Silent Hill is a psychological horror romp where players must guide protagonist Harry Mason through the fog-bound streets of the cursed town in search of missing daughter while solving brain-teasing puzzles and fighting off an assortment of grotesque beasts.
Is it a remake? Is it a PSN re-release? Color us intrigued.
