Rumor – Sony To Host Major State Of Play Event In March 2022

XboxEra co-founder Nick Baker has claimed that Sony Interactive Entertainment will host a new State of Play event in March.

In addition to Baker’s comment, Tom Henderson, a reliable leaker who has accurately outed plenty of details on Battlefield in the past, also reckons that something is in the pipeline.

Sony’s last State of Play event took place in early February and focussed on Gran Turismo 7, although right now the format holder hasn’t announced plans for its next broadcast.

At this point we can only speculate as to what games will be showcased during the next State of Play, although perhaps we’ll get a better look at God of War Ragnarok. In addition, there’s also PSVR 2 on the horizon, so that could be a possible avenue to explore for a new broadcast.

Hopefully Sony will announce something soon enough, so stay tuned for more info.
