Sony is currently beavering away on a new Spider-Man game for the PlayStation 4, according to NerdLeaks.
The industry tipsters noticed a listing for the web-slinger on the resume for capture performer, Stephen Oyoung. Unsurprisingly, the listing has since been pulled, though it clearly stated Oyoung was involved with an ‘Untitled Spider-Man PS4 Project.’
Nothing official has been announced by Sony, although it’s worth pointing out that Activision is still in possession of exclusive rights when it comes to making video games starring the iconic Marvel superhero.
The last Spider-Man game to grace a Sony platform was The Amazing Spider-Man 2, based on the 2014 movie of the same name starring Andrew Garfield.
As for the films themselves, Sony is rebooting the franchise with Spider-Man: Homecoming next summer, with Tom Holland replacing Garfield in the lead role. In addition, Robert Downey Jr.’s Iron Man is also going to appear in the film for some crossover action.
