Rumour – Call Of Duty 2025 To Feature Black Ops II Remastered Multiplayer Maps

A reliable Call of Duty tipster has claimed that Call of Duty 2025 will feature a number of remastered Call of Duty: Black Ops II multiplayer maps.

Writing on Twitter, user el_bobberto, who has accurately leaked a number of details regarding Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III, notes that “this is very likely to change within the next two years,” so it’s probably best not get your hopes up just yet. As always, none of this info is official anyway, so take it with a pinch of salt.

Right now it’s way too early to be talking about Call of Duty 2025, although murmurs are already filtering onto the web regarding next year’s instalment in the first-person shooter franchise, which is supposedly codenamed Cerberus. This game is reportedly in the works at Treyarch and is supposedly going to be based around the Gulf War.

In addition, actor Luke Charles Stafford seemingly confirmed back in July that he has been cast as the main character in next year’s Call of Duty game, which will reportedly feature a two-year lifecycle.

In regards to remastered maps, Modern Warfare III is going to feature 16 revamped multiplayer maps taken from the original version of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III is pencilled in for a November 10, 2023 release on PS5, PS4, PC, Xbox Series X/S, and Xbox One.
