Call of Duty 2024 hasn’t even been announced yet, but already we’ve got some very early — and obviously unconfirmed — reports on not only Call of Duty 2026, but Call of Duty 2027 too.
The info comes from a collaboration between two dataminers sharing info, with Call of Duty 2026 reportedly known as Project Devilwood, and will take place during the same timeline as Call of Duty: Ghosts. This project is being headed by Infinity Ward, while Call of Duty 2027 (known as Project Anvil) is reportedly being handled by Sledgehammer Games and will be a sequel to Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare.

Obviously none of this should be taken with anything less than a cup of salt, as the nearest title, Project Devilwood, is still over two years away. However, if this info is accurate, then it would appear that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 is not on the cards until at least 2028.
According to previous rumours, next year’s Call of Duty game is going to be a direct sequel to Call of Duty: Black Ops II and takes place in the near-future. As for this year’s entry in the multi-million selling shooter franchise, we’re supposedly getting a Call of Duty set in the Gulf War.
